As State Director for AIMERS Foundation in Victoria, Sohni Singh is guided by a simple but powerful vision: a future in which every young person—regardless of background, postcode, gender, or circumstance—has access to high-quality STEM learning and a clear understanding of the pathways into the industries shaping our world. Her vision is grounded in community. Sohni is committed to engaging families in meaningful and targeted ways so that parents feel informed, confident, and empowered to support their children’s educational journeys. By connecting communities with the broader STEM ecosystem, she aims to help make opportunity universal rather than selective. Sohni envisions a Victoria with a workforce ready for the emerging sectors that will define the next generation, including space technology, artificial intelligence, robotics, biotechnology, and digital innovation. She believes STEM learning should be closely aligned with real industry challenges so students graduate with hands-on experience, practical skills, and the confidence to contribute and compete on a global stage.
